Generic Levitra
Levitra is the brand name for vardenafil hydrochloride, an oral drug against erectile dysfunction that was developed as a follow-up to Viagra in 2003. Vardenafil is one of the drugs in the family of dysfunction medicines called PDE5 inhibitors, all of which are used to restore sexual health in men with diagnosed impotence. In 2018 the patent for exclusive production of Levitra expired for Bayer, its original developer, and Indian Levitra became available in the U.S. with the approval of the FDA.

Levitra generic is any of the class of erectile dysfunction medicines conaining vardenafil in the dose that makes it analogous to the original Levitra dosage (5mg, 10mg or 20mg) produced by an accredited pharmaceutical company. As a matter of fact, Indian pharmaceutical companies had started generic production of vardenafil way before that, all because of the nature of patenting in the country, which is not based on the ownership of the formula, but on the manufacturing process.
